The Challenge
What we walked into
Big Willie’s had been running an honest, owner-operated gutter business for six years, but the previous site treated gutters like an afterthought to a generic exteriors brand. Homeowners searching specifically for seamless gutters, guards, or repair work could not tell what Big Willie’s actually did — or that they served their neighborhood.
The previous agency had set up Google Ads campaigns that lumped every exteriors search together. Big Willie was paying for clicks from homeowners shopping for siding and roofing they did not sell, while the gutter-specific intent was being missed entirely.
- Gutters buried under generic exteriors content
- Ad budget wasted on non-gutter exteriors clicks
- No service-area clarity for the local market
- Seamless vs sectional, guard vs no-guard not differentiated
The Approach
What we did
We rebuilt the site around what Big Willie actually sells: seamless installs, guard systems, repairs, and cleanouts — each with its own page, its own buyer questions answered, and its own clear next step. Photos of real local jobs replaced the generic stock imagery.
Google Ads got restructured into separate campaigns for installation, guards, and repair intent — each pointed at a landing page built for that exact service. The bad-fit exteriors clicks stopped, and budget started flowing to the searches that actually produce booked installs.
- Service-line pages for seamless, guards, repair, and cleanout
- Local job photos replacing stock imagery
- Separated ad campaigns by service intent
- Landing pages built per service for the ad clicks
The Outcome
What changed
In the first 90 days post-launch, qualified gutter leads were up 312% and Big Willie booked 28 new install jobs — more than the entire prior quarter combined. Ad spend stayed flat, but the wasted portion (clicks from homeowners shopping for non-gutter work) dropped 38%.
The team also started getting reviews more consistently — the post-job review request workflow brought the Google rating to 4.8/5.0 with new reviews coming in steadily. Six years of honest work is finally being seen by the right local homeowners.
I run a small local crew — the last thing I needed was an agency that didn’t understand the trades. Figgle got it right away. Clean site, clear message, easy quotes. Six years of honest work, finally being seen by the right people.
